NMDC Group and ADNOC Logistics & Services sealed a three-year agreement in Abu Dhabi to deliver joint maritime and logistics services for offshore projects.
Agreement Focuses on Offshore EPC Projects
In Abu Dhabi, NMDC Group and ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) signed a new three-year agreement designed to support offshore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. The deal was signed at NMDC’s headquarters by Eng. Yasser Zaghloul, Group CEO of NMDC, and Capt. Abdulkareem Al Masabi, CEO of ADNOC L&S. Under this framework, the two companies will coordinate on maritime services and integrated logistics solutions, strengthening Abu Dhabi’s offshore energy infrastructure.
The agreement expands the established cooperation between NMDC and ADNOC L&S, aiming to provide a more structured approach to large-scale projects in the region. Both companies see this as a step toward creating efficient service delivery models for offshore development, which remains central to Abu Dhabi’s long-term energy strategy.
Statements from NMDC Leadership
Eng. Yasser Zaghloul noted that NMDC has built decades of experience in marine EPC infrastructure, with the capacity to manage complex logistics for large projects. He referenced the creation of NMDC LTS, the group’s logistics and technical services subsidiary, which has broadened their ability to deliver solutions across multiple sectors. Zaghloul highlighted that NMDC and ADNOC L&S operate some of the largest marine fleets in the Middle East, and aligning their operations will help maximize the effectiveness of available resources. He stressed that the new framework is intended to capture synergies across sectors, creating additional value for both shareholders and the emirate’s industrial growth.
ADNOC L&S Perspective
From ADNOC’s side, Capt. Abdulkareem Al Masabi underlined that the collaboration fits within ADNOC L&S’s strategic goal of expanding its offshore logistics capabilities. He explained that joining forces with NMDC allows ADNOC L&S to combine its logistics network with NMDC’s EPC expertise, ultimately creating new opportunities for efficient project delivery. Al Masabi also emphasized that the initiative goes beyond operational performance, as it contributes to the broader economic objectives of the United Arab Emirates, particularly in strengthening the offshore energy sector.
Sector Implications
Industry analysts view the partnership as a significant move for Abu Dhabi’s offshore operations. The joint framework is expected to enhance project timelines, optimize costs, and improve service delivery standards across the emirate’s energy projects. With sustainability and safety remaining key considerations, the collaboration will likely bring operational benefits that extend beyond immediate project outcomes.
