McDonald’s Turkey Joins Best Workplaces in Retail 2025 List

McDonald’s Turkey has been recognized in the 2025 Best Workplaces in Retail™ list, highlighting its efforts to improve employee satisfaction and workplace culture.

Recognition in Retail Workplace Survey

McDonald’s Turkey announced that it has been included in the Great Place To Work® Turkey 2025 Best Workplaces in Retail™ ranking. According to data from the organization, 72% of employees working at companies featured in the list describe their employers as a “great place to work.” This figure is reported to be 22% higher compared with the experience at standard companies.

Certification Confirms Workplace Standards

Earlier this year, the company was also awarded the Great Place to Work® Certification, a distinction given to organizations that meet international standards of employee well-being and trust. Executives noted that the certification, combined with the retail sector listing, reflects the firm’s broader commitment to workplace quality and inclusiveness.

Performance in Female Employment

The company’s workforce profile also underscores its employee-focused approach. Based on figures from TEPAV, the overall female employment rate in the food and beverage sector stands at 38.6%. At McDonald’s Turkey, however, the rate reached 48.9% by the end of 2024, marking a stronger representation of women compared to sector averages.

Women in Leadership Roles

Management-level data also shows a similar trend. Across Turkey, the percentage of women in senior and mid-level management positions is 19.6%. Within McDonald’s Turkey, this figure has climbed to 40.3%. Company representatives underlined that the progress is part of broader initiatives to encourage both women and younger professionals to play a larger role in the sector.
