OOVIE Studios lands pre-seed backing for “Music Interactive Movies”
OOVIE Studios, a Lugano-based MusicTech and entertainment startup, has raised €164,000 (CHF 150,000) from Venture Kick to advance its “Music Interactive Movies” concept—interactive films designed to evolve in real time alongside classical music performances and audience input.
The funding will be used to accelerate business development and continue building the OO App, an application the company says will enable anyone to create a movie directly from music. Lorenzo Ramon, the company’s CMO, said the Venture Kick program’s guidance helped the team sharpen its vision and business model.
Positioned within a growing European MusicTech funding wave
The round comes amid broader investor interest in European MusicTech across 2025, spanning tools for music creation and live-event infrastructure. London-based fan3 raised €4.2 million to expand a fan-first ticketing platform aimed at reducing scalping. UK startup Mozart AI secured €616,000 pre-seed to build an AI-powered digital audio workstation, while Belgium’s Breakevent closed an €876,000 round to develop an AI platform supporting concert operations and performance.
Against those larger raises, OOVIE Studios sits at the earlier end of the spectrum, targeting a new format that blends cinema, live interpretation, and participatory storytelling.
Founding team and early commercial traction
Incorporated in May 2025, OOVIE Studios was founded by Riccardo Acciarino (CEO), Marco Seco (CCO), Ignacio Palladino (CTO), Giulio Casagrande (COO), and Lorenzo Ramon (CMO). The company argues classical music faces challenges attracting younger audiences seeking immersive, multimedia experiences—an engagement gap it aims to address with interactive narratives that change based on performance and audience interaction.
The startup also positions its format as a bridge between music events seeking new engagement models and brands seeking deeper community connections. One cited project is a “Music Interactive Movie” created for Dell Technologies, presented across multiple European cities and later featured by LaFil Filarmonica di Milano during its LIVE MUSIC.
