JAB Insurance has officially completed its acquisition of Prosperity Life Group from Elliott Investment Management. The deal brings Prosperity Life‘s substantial assets and policyholder base under the JAB Insurance umbrella.
Prosperity Life Group, with its approximately one million policies focused on protection and retirement solutions, holds a strong financial rating. This rating, from respected agencies like A.M. Best, S&P Global, and KBRA, reflects the company’s financial stability.
JAB Insurance plans to leverage Prosperity Life‘s established presence and expertise. The company intends to strengthen Prosperity Life‘s operations and pursue sustainable growth, prioritizing its policyholders.
Anant Bhalla, JAB Insurance‘s Executive Chairman, expressed optimism about the acquisition’s potential. He highlighted the combined strengths of both organizations and the opportunity to create a global insurance ecosystem. He emphasized the long-term investment strategy and focus on delivering value to policyholders.

JAB Insurance, headquartered in Miami with a presence in New York, will integrate Prosperity Life‘s operations. Prosperity Life will retain its New York headquarters, maintaining operations in Austin, Texas, Roanoke, Virginia, and Bermuda.
JAB Insurance is a subsidiary of JAB Holding Company. The acquisition significantly expands JAB Insurance‘s presence in the U.S. insurance market. With the addition of Prosperity Life Group and Family Life, a Texas-based life insurance company, JAB Insurance now manages nearly $30 billion in assets and serves approximately one million clients. The company aims to build a leading global life insurance platform.
Elliott Investment Management, founded in 1977, manages a considerable portfolio of assets. The firm’s investor base includes a diverse range of entities, from pension plans and sovereign wealth funds to endowments, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.
