Intuos raises €720k to scale aviation fleet ops platform

Intuos secures €720k to expand AviationTech platform

Rome-based AviationTech startup Intuos has raised €720,000 to accelerate development and international rollout of its integrated platform for aircraft fleet operators. The round follows the company’s expansion across Europe and South Africa and was led by Argo, a TravelTech accelerator backed by a CDP Venture Capital initiative with Italy’s Ministry of Tourism and managed by Zest and Venisia. Techstars (via Techstars Transformative World Torino), Ventive, plus club deals and business angels also participated.

Targeting non-commercial aviation’s operational complexity

Founders Carolina Gianardi and Vito Tedeschi said non-commercial aviation is facing rising operational complexity that legacy tools struggle to manage. They argue the sector lacks structured control over training, operations and fleet management. The new funding will be used to complete the platform’s technology roadmap and support entry into the US market, building on experience gained in Europe and an agreement already signed in South Africa.

Software plus IoT and ML analytics

Founded in 2019, with operational headquarters in L’Aquila at Aeroporto dei Parchi, Intuos combines operational software with proprietary IoT devices and ML-based analytics. Its “Manager” module digitises processes from flight planning to maintenance, while its “InFlight Data Monitoring” solution streams real-time telemetry and engine performance data to enable live monitoring, pilot performance analysis and anomaly detection without manual uploads. The company says its unified database reduces data redundancy and improves consistency across modules.

Early-stage raise amid larger aviation funding themes

While recent European aviation funding has often skewed toward fuel innovation, defence/UAV capability and corporate venturing, Intuos is positioning its smaller, earlier-stage round as a bet on operational digitisation and data-driven safety and efficiency for flight schools, flying clubs and smaller operators.
