Neura raises €1B led by Tether at €4B valuation

Neura secures €1B to scale humanoid robotics

Germany-based robotics company Neura has raised €1 billion in fresh funding in a round led by Tether, valuing the company at €4 billion. The capital injection is aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of AI-powered humanoid robots, as the sector races to move from prototypes into real-world industrial and service applications.

Funding builds on recent momentum

The new round follows Neura’s previously reported €120 million Series B financing, underscoring growing investor appetite for robotics platforms that combine advanced sensing, mobility, and on-device intelligence. The company is positioning the latest raise as a scale-up round—focused less on early R&D and more on manufacturing readiness, supply-chain expansion, and broader commercialization.

Order book highlights industrial demand

Neura also cited an approximately €1 billion order book, pointing to demand signals from established industrial players including Kawasaki and Omron. While specific contract terms were not disclosed, the pipeline suggests interest in deploying humanoid and adjacent robotic systems for tasks such as material handling, inspection, and flexible automation—use cases where labor constraints and safety considerations are pushing companies to adopt robotics faster.

Competitive landscape heats up

The humanoid robotics market has become increasingly competitive, with companies worldwide attempting to translate advances in AI and perception into general-purpose machines. Neura’s €4 billion valuation places it among the more highly valued European robotics players, and the participation of Tether signals continued cross-sector investment into automation as robotics converges with AI infrastructure.

Neura did not provide a detailed timeline for deployments tied to the new funding, but the company said the proceeds will be used to scale production and speed up go-to-market efforts.
