Ky expressed enthusiasm about joining Vertical Aerospace at this pivotal moment for electric aviation. He believes the company is uniquely positioned to lead the industry through certification and into commercial operations.
Domhnal Slattery, Chairman of Vertical Aerospace, praised Ky‘s extensive experience and leadership. He stated that Ky‘s expertise will be invaluable in advancing Vertical‘s aircraft certification program. The appointment underscores the company’s commitment to top regulatory and safety standards.
Ky‘s career has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Glen A. Gilbert Memorial Award and Aviation Week‘s Philip J. Klass Lifetime Achievement Award.
