Distinguished Winners Across Categories
In the Customer Experience category, Tractor Supply Co., recognized as the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, earned first place. The company has improved its operational efficiency and customer interactions through the use of AI and 5G-enabled mobile innovations. Key advancements include the introduction of Hey GURA, a generative AI assistant, and a comprehensive mobile super-app, TSC&Me, which connects its 52,000 team members nationwide. These tools enhance team productivity and streamline customer service, showcasing the transformative power of T-Mobile’s connectivity.
Axis Energy Services took home the top prize in Employee Enablement for its pioneering developments in the oil and gas sector. By utilizing T-Mobile’s 5G and T-Satellite technology, the company is advancing predictive maintenance and cybersecurity, alongside launching the industry’s first electric well service rig. This initiative aims to improve job safety and efficiency across various states, from Texas to North Dakota, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable energy practices.
In the Industry Transformation category, Cisco was recognized for its innovative use of AI in procurement processes, allowing employees to manage purchase orders and expenses in real-time while benefiting from enhanced connectivity. This integration has streamlined operations and opened doors for supplier innovation.
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) was awarded in the Community Innovation category for its Black Fire Innovation hub, which combines academic and industry efforts to foster advancements in gaming and hospitality. With support from T-Mobile’s 5G, the initiative features a high-tech kitchen lab designed to optimize operations and minimize waste, ultimately enhancing guest experiences.
Special Recognition and Future Innovations
Prominent author Malcolm Gladwell returned to present the Tipping Point Designation, an accolade honoring organizations that effect significant change within their sectors. This year, the South Walton Mosquito District was awarded for implementing Florida’s first drone-powered mosquito control program, significantly reducing treatment times and improving resource management with the help of T-Mobile’s 5G technology.
