LONDON — Searchable secured £10.3 million in funding in 2025 at a valuation of £62.9 million, according to the London-based AI startup founded by Chris Donnelly. The investment round was led by Headline to help brands monitor their visibility on 10 different search engines, including ChatGPT and Google's AI.

Chris Donnelly said customers convert at three times the rate when arriving from AI platforms like ChatGPT, per company data released on Tuesday. The founder noted that customers arrive with greater intent, trust, and a shorter path to purchase when an AI assistant recommends a brand.

Searchable reached £1.4 million in annual recurring revenue within four and a half months of operations, serving nearly 1,000 customers such as American Express and KPMG. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its presence in both the United Kingdom and United States markets.

Clients see an average 22 percent increase in AI-driven traffic within 60 days of using the platform, the company said. Established competitors like Semrush and Ahrefs, alongside newcomers Profound and Otterly.ai, are also integrating answer engine optimization and AI visibility features.

Dominic R. Wilhelm, a partner at Headline, said on Tuesday that AI-driven discovery is rewriting how customers find products. Brands failing to adapt will see dwindling demand as AI becomes the dominant search method by 2027, according to industry predictions cited by the firm.
