PARIS — French startup OpsMill secured $14 million in Series A funding to expand its infrastructure data management software, the company announced on Tuesday. The high-profile financing round was led by venture capital firm IRIS, with additional financial participation from BGV and existing institutional backers Serena and Partech, establishing a robust operational foundation for the enterprise software developer.
The company was formally incorporated in 2023 by chief executive Damien Garros and co-founder Karen Gallantry to solve persistent data management challenges for corporate networks. Garros brings nearly 20 years of specialized industry experience to OpsMill, having previously worked at major technology firms including Roblox and Juniper Networks before launching the startup specifically to eliminate disconnected spreadsheets and outdated internal legacy systems.
OpsMill distributes its flagship product, Infrahub, as an advanced graph database platform designed to map the complex relationships between physical and virtual systems within corporate networks. Early enterprise adopters have documented dramatic operational improvements, including European cloud services provider Eurofiber, which reported that routine deployment times plummeted from 5 days down to just 15 minutes after fully implementing the software.
The platform provides vital configuration validation and governance tools that appeal directly to heavily regulated sectors such as financial services and manufacturing, where system errors carry severe compliance consequences or major operational outages. Alongside major global operators like TikTok, corporate customers can access Infrahub through 2 distinct distribution structures: a free open-source Community edition and a fully licensed Enterprise tier modeled after software developer GitLab.
Julien-David Nitlech, managing partner at lead investor IRIS, said in a formal statement that clean, structured infrastructure data is absolutely essential for modern technology operations. OpsMill will deploy the complete $14 million funding injection to aggressively scale its engineering and product development teams over the next 12 months to meet surging global enterprise demand.
