Northwestern Mutual is committing up to $2 million to support childhood cancer research through a partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. This significant contribution is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to funding pediatric oncology research.
The initiative coincides with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the company’s newly designated “goldeNMoments™ Day.” This day serves as a recognition of the progress made in childhood cancer research and the resilience shown by those affected.
Northwestern Mutual‘s funding model involves a pledge of $100 for each new financial plan delivered in September (except in New York, where the pledge is $25 per plan). All proceeds will go directly to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation to advance research. The company anticipates this will translate into 40,000 research hours.
