His vision culminated in the launch of Heilbronn Slush’D in 2022, a festival aimed at connecting innovators, corporates, and entrepreneurs. This year’s event, which was sold out, featured over 40 speakers from ten countries, covering themes such as leadership, artificial intelligence, robotics, and sustainable business practices.
Innovative Panels and Keynotes
The festival was marked by engaging discussions and panels that focused on deep tech, sustainability, and entrepreneurship with an impact. The festival also showcased the construction of the Gravity Hub, a new headquarters for Campus Founders designed to foster innovation and collaboration among startups, corporates, and researchers. Spanning 8,266 square meters, the hub will feature over 200 workspaces and multiple meeting and event spaces, reinforcing Heilbronn’s position as a key player in the European innovation landscape.

Breana Callan, marketing lead for the EU-funded project DeployAI, noted that AI has transitioned from potential to a proven driver of momentum. However, the legal landscape continues to pose challenges for founders, as articulated by Olivia Marcu-Iordanescu, a tech lawyer who emphasized that entrepreneurs should focus on product development rather than becoming legal experts.
The festival also explored the interplay between startups and corporate entities, with discussions highlighting the need for agility and collaboration. Henning Löser remarked on the necessity of allowing startups the freedom to innovate and iterate, while David Reger outlined how startups can significantly contribute to corporate innovation.

Tina Dreimann, managing director at Better Ventures, highlighted the growing need for inclusive investment strategies that support diverse founders.
