Endava, a technology-driven business transformation group, recently published its fifth annual “We Care” Sustainability Report, covering the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The report showcases the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
John Cotterell, Endava’s chief executive officer, emphasized the company’s dedication to sustainability, highlighting its integration into the company’s core values. He expressed satisfaction with the report’s release and the progress made.
This year’s report features a revised approach to sustainability, reflecting Endava’s evolving strategy and aligning with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) principles, though the company is not yet formally reporting under the EU framework.
Laurence Madsen, Head of Investor Relations and ESG at Endava, explained the refinements made to the reporting process. She noted a simplified structure and improved alignment with key frameworks. Madsen also mentioned obtaining limited assurance for the company’s data management approach and the ongoing work toward science-based emissions reduction targets, approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2024.
Endava‘s “We Care” approach focuses on four key areas: people and communities, environmental impact, operational responsibility, and business innovation. The report comprehensively details the company’s accomplishments and ongoing efforts in these areas.
In 2025, Endava established internal teams to support the implementation of its SBTi-approved emissions reduction goals. The company is also actively engaging its supply chain to encourage responsible practices and further its sustainability objectives.
The company prioritizes data privacy, cybersecurity, and ethical decision-making, adhering to global standards. Endava‘s commitment to employee development through inclusive learning programs has contributed to positive customer satisfaction trends.
Cotterell further noted Endava’s evolving role as a trusted partner in AI-driven transformation. He emphasized the company’s strategic partnership with OpenAI and investments in AI and core modernization accelerators, strengthening its ability to provide sustainable technology solutions for clients.
