SAN FRANCISCO — Ciridae successfully secured $20 million in seed funding during 2025 to expand its artificial intelligence operational solutions for mid-market companies. Accel led the financing round, which included contributions from four other major venture capital firms, including Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst, Sunflower Capital, and Backcountry Ventures, the startup confirmed in a statement on Tuesday.

The enterprise was founded in 2025 by former technology executives Jack Soslow and Jack Weissenberger. Soslow served as a former partner at venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, while Weissenberger held various engineering leadership roles at software giant Salesforce before starting the new venture. Soslow said the company was built specifically to address the quieter failures of the artificial intelligence boom, noting that companies standing to benefit most often lack the means of adopting the technology.

Ciridae concentrates on developing tailored software systems for traditional sectors that include logistics, healthcare, construction, and home services. The company bypasses broad enterprise software to target mid-market businesses with customized operational processes designed to replace manual workflows. Implementation of these systems can transform core workflows in as little as two weeks, representing a stark contrast to the typical 18-month timeframe seen across the broader industry, according to the founders.

The startup has already begun establishing active partnerships with private equity firms that manage total assets exceeding $1.3 trillion globally. Remarkably, just months after its initial market launch, Ciridae achieved a high seven-figure revenue run rate while simultaneously remaining entirely cash-flow positive, the company said in a statement to reporters.

Christine Esserman, a partner at lead investor Accel, said in 2025 that the old playbook of financial engineering without operational transformation is breaking down. Ciridae plans to further expand its corporate influence among private equity-backed firms and develop the proprietary Ciridae AI Index, which will serve as a benchmarking tool for operational transformation across the market, the enterprise announced.
