Cincoze Launches Innovative MAGNET Series for Machine Vision
On October 17, 2025, the rugged edge computing company, Cincoze, announced the launch of its new MAGNET product line, which features high-performance DIN-Rail embedded computers specifically designed for machine vision applications. This latest addition marks the fourth product line from Cincoze, following its offerings in rugged embedded computers, industrial panel PCs, and GPU embedded solutions. The MAGNET series aims to enhance the company’s portfolio and cater to the increasing demand for advanced computing solutions in smart manufacturing environments.
The MAGNET line is engineered to meet the needs of the machine level in smart manufacturing, incorporating four essential features: exceptional performance, modular scalability, compact design, and DIN-Rail mounting capability. These attributes position the MAGNET series as an optimal solution for burgeoning edge AI machine vision applications, including vision-guided robotics, inspection systems, and measurement tasks.
MD-3000: The Flagship Model
At the forefront of this new series is the MD-3000, the flagship model that exemplifies the MAGNET line’s capabilities. Despite its compact height of just 150 mm, the MD-3000 is equipped to support Intel® Core™ desktop-grade processors and can accommodate a scalable expansion deck of up to six slots. This allows for flexible combinations with more than ten different scalable expansion modules, showcasing its extensive expandability. The MD-3000 is built on Cincoze‘s rugged design principles and complies with various industry standards, ensuring reliable operation in challenging industrial conditions.
Meeting the high demands of machine vision, the MD-3000 can utilize the latest generations of Intel® Core™ processors, providing substantial computing power and supporting up to 96GB of DDR5 memory along with dual NVMe SSDs. To maintain optimal performance within its compact design, Cincoze has incorporated two patented thermal technologies that enhance cooling efficiency, allowing the device to function reliably even under significant workload conditions.
Modular Design for Versatile Applications
Another key feature of the MD-3000 is its modular design, which allows users to customize their configurations based on specific application requirements. Users can select from different scalable expansion decks and combine them with various expansion modules, including I/O interfaces and storage options. This modularity not only enhances flexibility but also allows for easy upgrades and maintenance, as all modules support hot swapping and are designed for straightforward installation.
The MD-3000 is particularly well-suited for cabinet installations, as its compact design alleviates space constraints. All operational and I/O interfaces are strategically located at the front of the unit, simplifying both installation and maintenance processes. The device is engineered to withstand harsh environments, with a wide operational temperature range from -40°C to 65°C, shock and vibration resistance, and compliance with industrial electromagnetic compatibility standards.
