Chicken Salad Chick, a fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in chicken salad, celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Plant City, Florida, on September 16th. The restaurant, situated at 2304 James L Redman Parkway within the Walden Woods Shopping Center, is owned by Brad and Tammy Cochran, experienced franchisees operating several other Chicken Salad Chick locations throughout the Tampa Bay area.
The grand opening festivities included several promotions throughout the week. The first 100 guests in line on Tuesday received a year’s supply of free chicken salad. Subsequent days featured giveaways like free chicken salad with specific purchases, tote bags, and coolers, all contingent upon app downloads and specific purchases.
Brad Cochran expressed his enthusiasm about bringing the Chicken Salad Chick experience to Plant City. He highlighted the restaurant’s commitment to providing high-quality, made-from-scratch chicken salad in a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant offers dine-in, takeout, delivery, and catering services.
Scott Deviney, president and CEO of Chicken Salad Chick, shared his confidence in the new location’s success, emphasizing the strong community ties and the Cochrans’ experience in the Tampa Bay market. He noted Plant City’s family-friendly environment as a perfect fit for the brand.
The Plant City location, along with the larger Chicken Salad Chick brand, is committed to community involvement. Pre-opening events raised funds for the United Food Bank & Services of Plant City, demonstrating the brand’s support for local hunger relief efforts. The Chicken Salad Chick brand also supports the CSC Foundation, which contributes to CURE Childhood Cancer and other food banks.
