Berger Montague filed a class-action lawsuit against C3.ai (NYSE: AI) on behalf of investors who purchased shares between February 26 and August 8, 2025. The suit alleges misleading statements regarding growth prospects and the CEO’s health impacted the company's financial performance, leading to a significant stock price decline. Investors have until October 21, 2025 to seek lead plaintiff status.

Berger Montague PC, a national plaintiffs’ law firm, initiated a class action lawsuit against C3.ai, Inc. (NYSE: AI), a leading provider of enterprise artificial intelligence software. The suit represents investors who bought C3.ai shares between February 26, 2025, and August 8, 2025.

The complaint alleges that C3.ai and some of its executives provided inaccurate information about the company’s growth potential. The suit also claims that the company failed to disclose the negative impact of the CEO’s health on company operations.

On August 8, 2025, C3.ai released disappointing preliminary financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026. The company also lowered its full-year revenue projections. These announcements cited both a leadership restructuring and the CEO’s health as contributing factors to the poor performance.

The announcement resulted in a significant drop in C3.ai’s stock price. Shares fell from $22.13 on August 8 to $16.47 on August 11, a decrease exceeding 25%.

Investors who purchased C3.ai securities during the specified period have until October 21, 2025, to apply to become a lead plaintiff in the class action.
