Banyan Tree Holdings Limited (SGX: B58), a global hospitality company, announced “100 Journeys,” a centennial celebration marking the opening of its 100th property. The initiative spans 100 days, culminating in a week-long festival at the new Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree in Singapore.
The festival, running from November 27th to December 3rd, 2025, will feature various activities, including guided nature walks, wellness sessions, and community events. Proceeds from ticket sales will be matched by Banyan Group and donated to the President’s Challenge, a Singapore-based charity.
Ren Yung Ho, Banyan Group’s Deputy Chief Executive, explained that “100 Journeys” represents the company’s growth and commitment to creating meaningful travel experiences. He emphasized the importance of community engagement and the lasting impact of responsible tourism.
“100 Journeys” features three key components: shared stories, personal discoveries, and lasting impact. The company has curated 100 unique experiences across its global portfolio, designed to immerse travelers in local culture and heritage. These range from pottery-making in Tibet to bamboo rafting in China and coral conservation in the Maldives.
The initiative also highlights Banyan Group’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community empowerment. Examples include a marine lab in the Maldives focused on coral conservation, bird conservation efforts in China, and sea turtle release programs in Bintan. The company also supports local artisans and provides educational opportunities for youth.
Guests are invited to share their travel stories as part of the “100 Stories” initiative. The company will award prizes, including gift cards and complimentary stays, to selected participants. The campaign aims to showcase the transformative power of travel and the importance of respectful interactions with local communities.
Banyan Group, founded on the principles of “Embracing the Environment, Empowering People,” aims to be a leader in sustainable and regenerative tourism. The company’s portfolio includes over 90 hotels and resorts, more than 140 spas and galleries, and over 20 branded residences in more than 20 countries. The company operates under twelve global brands, all united under a single experiential membership program.
