Audicin secures €1.6M to expand recovery platform
Finnish neurotech startup Audicin has raised €1.6 million to scale its psychoacoustic recovery platform, aiming to broaden distribution across wearables and third-party applications. The round was backed by Petteri Lahtela, co-founder of Oura, alongside Business Finland, the country’s public innovation funding organization.
From audio science to everyday recovery tools
Audicin is building a psychoacoustic platform designed to support recovery using sound-based interventions informed by neuroscience and signal processing. The company plans to use the new capital to accelerate product development and partnerships, making its technology available through both direct integrations with wearable devices and via third-party apps.
Wearables and app integrations are the growth focus
The funding will support efforts to scale the platform beyond a standalone experience by enabling deeper interoperability across the health and wellness ecosystem. By expanding to wearables and external apps, Audicin is positioning its technology to reach users within existing daily routines—where recovery metrics and behavioral nudges are increasingly delivered through consumer devices.

Support from Petteri Lahtela adds credibility given Oura’s global footprint in wearables, while Business Finland’s participation underscores continued public-sector interest in export-ready deep tech. The company did not disclose valuation or additional investor details.
