Apple recently celebrated the grand opening of its first retail store in Pune, India. Located in Koregaon Park, the new store marks Apple‘s fourth retail location in the country. The company expressed excitement about connecting with customers in this significant cultural and educational center.
The store offers Apple‘s complete product lineup, including the latest iPhone 16 models, iPad Air with Apple Pencil Pro, and the M4-powered MacBook Air. Customers can also access personalized support and technical assistance from the store’s team.
Apple‘s retail team in Pune comprises 68 employees representing 11 Indian states. They are equipped to provide personalized setup assistance, guidance on switching to iOS, and various retail services such as Apple Trade In and financing options.
The store also features dedicated areas showcasing Apple services like Apple Music and Apple TV+. A designated Apple Pickup area streamlines the process for customers who prefer online ordering and in-store collection. Businesses can also access tailored support and resources from dedicated teams.
Environmentally conscious design is a key feature. Apple Koregaon Park operates entirely on renewable energy, achieving carbon neutrality.
Apple‘s commitment to education is evident through its “Today at Apple” program. Free, daily sessions are available, covering various topics to help customers maximize their Apple devices. These sessions range from photography workshops to tips on using iPad and Mac computers.
The store also offers unique experiences for customers, such as custom wallpapers and curated playlists highlighting local artists. Apple Koregaon Park joins existing Apple stores in Mumbai, Delhi, and the recently opened Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru.
Deirdre O’Brien, Apple‘s senior vice president of Retail, emphasized the company’s enthusiasm for this new location and its potential to serve the Pune community.
