500 Global, a prominent venture capital firm, and Creators HQ, a UAE-based content creator hub, have joined forces to launch the Creators Ventures Accelerator. This program will provide incubation and support for promising creator-led startups globally.
The accelerator will focus on the burgeoning creator economy, projected to reach $480 billion by 2027. The inaugural cohort will consist of up to 20 creators and creator-enablers.
Courtney Powell, COO and Managing Partner of 500 Global, emphasized the unique potential of creators to disrupt industries due to their established influence and community trust. The partnership with Creators HQ will provide the necessary infrastructure for creators to transition into successful founders.
The 10-week program will blend 500 Global’s venture-building experience with Creators HQ’s extensive network and resources within the creator economy. Participants will receive training and support to build and scale sustainable businesses.
Her Excellency Alia AlHammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, highlighted Creators HQ‘s belief in the entrepreneurial potential of creators. The collaboration with 500 Global will provide creators with vital mentorship, knowledge, and networking opportunities.
500 Global brings extensive experience in connecting regional ecosystems with global markets, having run over 190 programs across 21 markets in the past 15 years. Their presence in the MENA region since 2012 enhances the partnership’s ability to position creators for success.
The program’s culmination will be at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in January 2026, where participants will showcase their ventures to investors, industry leaders, and corporate partners. Confirmed speakers include notable figures from the creator economy.
