She will be based in New York City and will report directly to Jean-François Balaÿ, the Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole CIB.
### Transition of Leadership
Gallou’s appointment follows the transition of former Senior Regional Officer Stéphane Ducroizet, who is set to take on the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer focused on financing activities in Paris starting November 1, 2025. She emphasized her commitment to building upon the strong foundation laid by her predecessor and highlighted the importance of maintaining strong client relationships while driving innovative solutions in the financial sector. Her leadership will navigate the bank through the next phase of growth, underscoring the strategic significance of the Americas market to Crédit Agricole CIB.
### A Proven Track Record
Before her current appointment, Gallou served as the Deputy General Manager and Global Chief Risk Officer from 2022. Her extensive career at Crédit Agricole spans nearly two decades, during which she held various leadership roles within the Corporate Risk department from 2007 to 2022, managing diverse industry sectors. Gallou also gained valuable experience in Debt Restructuring and Advisory Services, working in both Paris and London, and has been part of the banking industry since 1992 when she began her career at Indosuez.
